I went to www.nypl.org/questions/chat.html and asked about dramatic irony for the play "Macbeth". The librarian was very helpful and gave me about 5 useful websites to visit.
I went to www.nypl.org/questions/chat.html and questioned "Nora" about psychology and how pre-language deafness can effect thought processing. She was unable to help me after I waited a while, and so my question remained unanswered, without even book references to look up or any psychology websites.
www-lib.uwyo.edu/services/ask.cfm and asked about biographical information on Nelson Mandela. I had to wait 5 or so minutes to get a response. But, once I did get a response I was provided with many sites that I had never came across that helped me out a lot.
I went to www.nypl.org/questions/chat.html and i asked about persuasive speech topics. When they replied, they gave me 3 websites that were very useful.
I am reading Breaking Dawn i still have not finished it, but from what i have read i cant not wait for the movie to come out. There is sex involed, but that is why her books were banned. I like the entire Saga, but with breaking dawn in the final chapter to a great series. With the love, birth, and transfermation is what makes this final chapter my favorite out of all books. I fell in love with Stephs Saga when i saw the first movie Twilight and with all of the love and fantisy and have been hooked ever since.
American Psycho could definately be qualified as a sick and disgusting book, and i can understand why there have been attempts to censore it. However, i believe that it also posseses some very powerful themes and awesome creative writing. The book shows the connection between the stress of holding a very powerful and financial career, yet trying to cooperate and live a regular life. Bret Easton Ellis really has created a very high quality novel that should not be banned.
